I'm never quite sure how we get here so fast, but here we are again, about to start another year! It seems to just keep flying by us with unstoppable force. 2017 was not at all what I thought it would be but in a lot of ways, I am so very thankful for that.
Birthday Festivities
So it was a goal of mine to celebrate my birthday dressed like the year of the age I was turning at least once in my 20's. So when I turned 24, I got some friends together and dressed up like it was 1924!
Who doesn't like to play dress up? We had a blast!
It just so happens to be my birthday month, so I thought I would share some fun throwback photos from the night.
Wedding Shower Fun
So my sister is getting married! We had her wedding shower a few weeks ago, and I thought I would share some pictures from the day. My mom and I are kind of antique store hoarders so a lot of the decor came from random things I found around the house as well have collected through the years, but my sisters mother-in-law did all of the chalkboards and center pieces! Together, we made it look like quite the affair. Enjoy!
